Kindergarten Registration Delayed at Folger McKinsey
Registration for Kindergarten at Folger McKinsey will begin Tuesday, April 17, 2012. This date is later than the county-wide registration kick-off. The week we return from the Easter/Spring Break, the staff will be unpacking boxes, welcoming the students back on April 12th, helping everyone adjust to the new surroundings and getting everything in place.
Beginning Tuesday, April 17, we will be ready to accept registrations for Kindergarten for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year. The hours for registration will be 9:30 am – 2:30 pm. Registrations will be accepted any school day beginning Tuesday, April 17 and throughout the remaining school year.
Registration Information
Children must be five-years-old by September 1 to enroll in kindergarten.
All kindergarten programs are full-day
You will need to bring the following documents with you when you register your child:
- Child’s birth certificate
- A copy of your child’s immunization record
- Two (2) proofs of residency:
o First proof must be a current lease or mortgage document
o Second proof can be a current utility, phone bill, or property tax notice
